eFile? allows you to organize your files in a Windows-like environment on BlackBerry®

Manage files of different types stored either directly on the BlackBerry® or on a corporate network. Users can create folders, rename files and move them between directories in a one-step synchronization process using eFile? Desktop manager. File type associations allow for immediate application launch from eFile?. Additionally, applications can be added to a cascading menu and to the launch bar.

eFile?'s user interface replicates MS Windows, and is implemented in a manner similar to traditional desktops. This means file management and navigation is made easy in a familiar tree-like structure that both new and experienced users will appreciate.

Note to Developers: Developers can use the free eFile? API to introduce uniform UI components to their applications, and allow users to store everything in one place. For developers, eFile? creates a higher level interface than the existing BlackBerry® storage functionality, providing the ability to manage created files visually through eFile?'s UI. Using eFile?'s SDKs, developers can introduce uniform UI components for file operations to their applications. File launch associations allow developers to register file types with eFile? that, when selected, will simultaneously open the appropriate application for that file.
